Any 2100/2120/5100/7100 device using Release 1.1 or Release 1.2 will work correctly with NAVIGON FreshMaps.  If Release 1.1 or Release 1.2 has not been installed, a small upgrade file will need to be installed prior to using NAVIGON Fresh or FreshMaps.  All versions of the 2100 max/2120 max will already support NAVIGON Fresh and FreshMaps.
