Here are some tips for searching POIs:

•    When searching by name, just type in the first few letters that are unique to this POI.  For example, say you wanted to get to Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota.  In the NAVIGON POI database, it is labeled as “MT RUSHMORE”. If you type ‘MOUNT’ you will not find it.  However, if you start typing ‘RU’ the Smart Speller will quickly narrow down the results and show you “MT RUSHMORE NATIONAL MEMORIAL” on the screen.

TIP:
1) Parks – they are located under ‘Tourist Attractions – Recreation Facility’
2) Stadiums/arenas/speedways, etc – they are located under ‘Recreation – other’
3) Wineries/vineyards can be found under the ‘Shopping’ category
